WHAT CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US

CEAD were engaged as a consultancy for a thermal simulation of a complex electro/mechanical/optical system that was in development at Compound Photonics. The purpose of the exercise was to simulate thermal transmission paths and optimise the design before physical modelling could be undertaken, and to then confirm with empirical measurements. The team at CEAD undertook the project at short notice and quickly demonstrated an excellent understanding of our project brief, subsequently delivering a comprehensive technical report with summary results and conclusions in a very short time period. Throughput the project, CEAD worked closely with Compound Photonics’ engineering team to ensure that the final project delivery satisfied the project brief and provided a working solution. I would have no hesitation in both using CEAD for future projects and in recommending them as consultants for thermal analysis

Neil Coates, Product Integration Manufacturing Manager, Compound Photonics

CEAD have provided us with a fantastic service over a number of years. They have provided us with accurate thermal and flow simulations for a number of key projects and have always provided a friendly and on-time service, we would therefore recommend them.

James Chapman, Engineering Manager, Synectics

We had to determine how much cooling to provide for a network of PCs in an industrial process environment. The obvious answer was to provide a sealed air-conditioned environment, but we wanted to reduce the energy consumption without compromising the reliability of the equipment.

This was when we contacted CEAD who immediately understood our requirements – technical intricacies and why we wanted to reduce the environmental impact. CEAD created a model of the thermal environment and the components within it. We then could modify this to find which option provided the best solution. As the model included the junction temperature of the critical components, it gave us the confidence we needed to be convinced that the reliability of the equipment would not be compromised.

Communications during the project were very productive and this coupled with the excellent detailed stage reports lead to an excellent working relationship. The reports were the backbone for our solution proposal to our customer, as they gave it the technical credibility required. Overall we were delighted with our work with CEAD, and would have no hesitation in recommending their services.
